Organised two very successful and glamorous balls in Marbella Spain raising in the region of €260,000 in the process.

Our charity is committed to raise €180.000 over 3 years to fund Irish Water Safety program Primary Aquatics Water Safety, (www.iws.ie). This year we will receive €60.000 towards funding the PAWS programme. We also made a donation of €20.000 to Toledo Hospital Spain.

In 2007 we launched a hard hitting campaign to increase water safety awareness in Spain . This included three months advertising in Cara magazine to target holiday makers (full page colour advert), water safety information situated at baggage reclaim area at Malaga international airport for three months, weekly adverts on water safety in The Sur newspaper for three months, (a popular weekly paper on the Costa Del Sol).

We have had approximately one hour twenty minutes on Irish TV relating to water safety awareness (Morning Ireland and Expose). We have had news articles in national and regional news papers including: The Sunday Independent, Irish Examiner, Irish Independent, Irish Daily Mirror, The Sun and Evening Herald.

In 2008 we are targeting primary schools on the Costa del Sol with our new water safety package. We have developed a 20 minute training lesson on pool safety awareness and our package includes teacher training material for pool safety.

We are also offering a popular home pack with water safety guidelines for parents, colouring in tasks for children and stimulation/awareness posters. We launched this campaign on 1st May 2008. Our mission is on going.
